Dear Partners and Friends of DISC,


Because of your prayers, support, and faithful partnership, DISC will celebrate 29 years of ministry on December 3rd of this year! Please reserve the date now for this special celebration.


As I reflect on nearly three decades of ministry in the inner city, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for all God has done through you and through DISC.


This past Sunday was a beautiful reminder of the fruit that has come from years of prayer, sacrifice, tears, and perseverance. I came prepared with a strong Word from the Lord for our Sunday service — but before I could preach, Raymond stood up and shared a word. Then Glen. Then Ronnie. One after another, these men began speaking life, truth, and encouragement from God’s Word.


I’ll admit, at first I was getting frustrated waiting for my turn! But as I sat there, the Lord reminded me of where these precious men once were and the incredible journey He has brought them through. Today, they are full of God’s Word, serving faithfully, mentoring others, and helping build the Kingdom.


And they are not the only ones.


The service was filled with men and women whose lives have been transformed through DISC. Just this week, I ran into several former disciples at the store — people who once struggled deeply and now have jobs, homes, restored lives, and hope for the future.


Looking back over the years, I can honestly say every struggle, every prayer, every sacrifice has been worth it.

The Future Is Ahead of Us

The work is not slowing down — the beat goes on!


God is doing exactly what He promised: raising up a mighty army from the inner city. Through the remodel of our Glory Store, we have added classrooms dedicated to discipleship and leadership training. Dr. Eric Hall has helped develop a training model for what we are calling the 100 Man Army Initiative.


We will begin our Warrior Classes on June 9, and we believe this will become a powerful movement of discipleship, healing, leadership, and Kingdom impact.


Below is a guideline created by Dr. Eric Hall for implementing and trainining of our 100 Man Army.

Ways You Can Get Involved

PRAYER


We pray every day at DISC at 12 Noon.
Join us as we seek God together for transformation in our city and beyond.


MENTORSHIP & TEACHING


We need mentors and teachers willing to invest one-on-one in the lives of our disciples.


FINANCIAL SUPPORT


DISC currently operates:

  • DISC Church
  • Life Skills Training Cente
  • Glory Resal


Together, these ministries require approximately $50,000 monthly to operate. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference and helps us continue reaching lives with the love of Christ.
