Friends and Partners of DISC - Much Love to You!!!

Wow! It's been a year hasn't it! Hurting people everywhere - not just in the streets but all over the place. We are seeing people who are sick, weary, hopeless, angry, mentally ill, depressed, etc. and all the above. However, I do believe as bad as everything looks in the natural - God will Win! We know this is a spiritual battle and as His great body of Christ arises, He will turn things around. We must not fear as He has prepared us for such a time as this! Listen for His voice and instruction as He cannot fail. He said, "Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it!" Matthew 16:13. We are praying for unity in the Body of Christ!

Just this week, one of our dear ladies who used to be sort of okay - but not really - totally went off the deep end. She was jumping on the roofs of our buildings from building to building, toting knives, sticks and whatever other weapons she could find to protect herself. She has gone totally paranoid - from the drugs and other terrible situations she has endured. From molestation to prostitution to drugs to abuse - at one point she was left in a parking lot for dead as she was "hopping" cars! The story goes on - this week she came to herself for a moment and said she wanted to go for help - we made the arrangements and then she disappeared - only to come back later and began breaking car windows, etc. At this point, we had no choice but to call the police. They came and took her to a mental institution hopefully for healing. Hoping and waiting for a good report. With JESUS all things are possible.

Another one of our older men, one of many, has had a total physical breakdown - can't hold his bowels and can barely move. Another lady was dropped off with all her belongings lined up in our parking lot - the list goes on and on. I am so praying for ways to be able to help the people. There are so many, and they are so desperate.

ANOTHER NOTE -

Last night, we had a capacity crowd at our Tent Revival - by the way - GOOD NEWS - WE ARE NOW GOING INTO OUR 8TH WEEK OF REVIVAL - WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND FRIDAY OF EACH WEEK, AND SEEING SOULS SAVED AND PEOPLE SEEKING REAL CHANGE! However, at the end of the meeting last night, most of our people had nowhere to go. We took a few in but we are not a shelter. The remainder had to find a place to go away from the cold - it was like 35 degrees. One sort of unspoken rule with me is if it is freezing or below, we let people stay inside. Broke my heart to see them go - I am believing for a temporary shelter. In the meantime, today we are finding heaters for our tent so they will have a place to be warm at least. I want to thank Mike Sandone for the continued use of his tent. It has been such a blessing as he provided it for us at the beginning of the pandemic and has continued to allow us to use it for our revival and other things. At our revival, we have had great evangelists, ministries who have prepared and come to serve food, great musicians and most of all the Great Gospel of Jesus Christ preached with fire. It is truly amazing to see night after night people coming for salvation and healing. More and more people are coming - the harvest is great! We desperately need Intercessors. Nothing happens without God! Please remember us in prayer. God is doing this thing and I am so blessed to see it and be a part of it. I'm forever grateful for all who have come, those who continue to bless us financially that we can keep going, and for all the love you, our partners and friends continue to show. We have had different groups gathering blankets, coats and warm things - we've almost given them all out - but it has been such a blessing. One precious group from Llano, led by our dear friend Trecy Johnson, brought a whole pickup load of warm stuff. Thank all of you from my heart.

Thanks to Peter Louis and Team and for the great garden they are creating in the back of the church. It is beautiful. We are planning to bless our community with the produce.
